How to Apply as a Non-Degree Student
Deadline: Application as a non-degree student runs from January 1 – July 31.

To apply, as a non-degree student at CBS, you must complete the following three steps:
  1. Fill in the application form
  2. Submit the application fee
  3. Send a copy of your high school transcripts
Please note that as a non-degree student, you will not be eligible for student visa and must arrange for a visa on your own.
Also note that only a limited number of students can be admitted to the program. The admission process is continual and the program may fill prior to the deadline.
To proceed with your application, please follow the steps below.

Step 1 – Application Form
Click the link below to fill out the application form and submit it online. The application form consists of two parts: 1) The general application and 2) the essay. For the essay, you may consider writing it separately in a word processor and paste it into the essay portion of the application form.

Step 2 – Application Fee
For Nepalese citizens the application fee is 500 NRP, to be paid at the CBS office.
For international students the application fee is US $50. International students should submit the application fee online via PayPal at this button:



Step 3 – High School Transcripts
Send us a copy of your high school transcripts which needs to show grades as a (1) scanned file by email or by fax (Fax: 977-1-4464802).  If this transcript is not in English you have to attach its English translation.

Evaluation, Admission, and Notification
  1. Once all components of the application have been received, the admissions committee will review the application.
  2. Normally a decision on admission will be made within two weeks and students will be notified of the outcome via email.
  3. Successful applicants must accept or decline the admissions offer within two weeks in an email reply.
To secure their place in the program, students who accept the admissions offer, must then submit full tuition for either one or two semesters, or a deposit of US $500. The remainder of the tuition is due on the first day of classes.
